How much Power can be made with a GT3076R?
Hey guys,
Im looking to get a new turbo for my car.
Its a sleeved 81.5mm 9.0:1 LS/Vtec
I recently made 444whp @ 20psi (on a dynojet) which had my Precision SC34 maxed out.
Im looking to get around 75-100whp more for now but i would like to know i could make close to 600 if i wanted to.
I know someone that is getting rid of a used GT3076R and im just curious as to how much power people have made with that turbo. I know its not much bigger than the SC34 and i dont really want to get another turbo and get retuned just to be maxed out at 50whp more.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
thanks

i think member spoolin here is around 550whp he has a nice setup also if you check evans tunning i think he swap out a 35r and went to 30r for not wanting to add more saftey equipment and i think he made 550also you will not get 600 whp from it tho it will turn into a heater before then

565whp

3076r can easily make 525whp, over that is really gonna be based on VE and tuning etc... if you want to see 600whp one day step up to a 35r

Forced Performance has a HTA upgrade for the 3076 that makes it a 60lb/min compressor

IMO i'd stick with your same turbo or go 35r another 30whp doesnt seem worth it for the money you're about to spend but I guess it depends on how much you're getting it for and how much you can sell your old turbo for. good luck.
Fyi, were putting a hta gt35r .82ar on a r32 heehe should be sick!
