Getting a turbo set up with a skyline front mount intercooler. I have a 93 hatch w/ b16a sirII. Will I have to do a grip of cutting to get that intercooler to fit in? And how do any of you hide your intercooler. I kind of want it to be not seen or just be the first thing you look at when you look at the car. Would a silver grille work??? Oh, stock front bumper. So any help would be great.

didn't think about that. Will that affect the performance of the intercooler. I just thought that they came that color for some heating reason. I dunno.
I don't know anything about turbos, except for the fact that I am getting one.

Why on earth would you want a skyline size intercooler if you don't want to show it off? There are a lot of smaller ICs that would be much easier to hide without sacrificing any performance.

 

well, do you want to buy my skyline intercooler. It's just that the kit I am getting comes with it. I can sell it to you... But would painting it black affect its performance.

I would assume that painting it would affect its heat transfer characteristics. You could put a black grill infront of it if you want to hide it. But that would affect performace as well.
