how much hp should i expect d16a6??
How much hp should I expect from a d16a6 boosted..using precision sc34 turbo, sfp manifold, 28x9x3 fmic, 2.50" dp flared to 3", 3" piping all the way to universal apexi turbo muffler using 450cc injectors, and uberdata?? all this is going into a 1991 honda crx hf.

Without a decent EMS i would say around the 175-185whp range on 9-10psi... that's assuming you ditch that overkill of an intercooler.

A typical D series on 10psi of boost with hondata and larger injectors will peak out around 190-200whp. 200 is getting lucky though.
Because he is not running a decent EMS he will not be able to fine tune to get those extra 10ish horses.
And as I said before, he will have even less power if he uses that gigantic intercooler on the set-up. Pressure drop is a bitch.

Uh, this is D16A6, the headflow is much better than the typical SOHC VTEC. I'd b inclined the think a good tuned D16A6 @ 10 psi would put out in the 230 whp range.

So why did you agree with me earlier about 175-185 then all of a sudden change your mind? I guess you overlooked it was an A6 too huh.
I am not a sohc expert, but I would find it hard to believe the head is going to make a 60whp increase.

a decent ems? he has complete control over his fueling and ignition maps, what else do you really need for a 200whp sohc?
BTW: i think someone on here just made 216whp @10psi on a d- series with uberdata..

I am actuall a little more familiar with the Y's then the A's. A few members on this board have pushed their Y's to 11-12psi. A common whp to expect at 10psi is around 170-180 without a decent ems. With an ems, youll be in the 190's.
