the turbo is a ball bearing from turbochargers .com and the manifold and all is from agp turbo spec are it a garret t30/40 with a .63 or.68 turbine housing . turbo spool at 3000rpm as smooth as butter the car is not completely tuned yet we broke an engine mount car went crazy on the dyno had to stop but anyway we need abigger intercooler her is the scoop car made 300hp an 330tq at 16psi at 19psi made 360hp 380 tq and at 21psi made 415 hp and 407 tq a/f was 11.5 and 12.1 with bigger injectors and rage return fuel system. this is what we no for sure the turbo i have will make 500hp easy with a new larger intercooler. stay tune late next week we will pu down the big 500 hp and when rc comes out with the even bigger injectors we will change out the pistons and rods and put down 600 hp with this turbo man this whole set up is awsome took 2 days to install there was absolutely no problems what so ever thaks kevin @agp turbo for such a great kit and your help and thanks turbochargers .com for the turbo install and tuning

pretty interesting. stock block, minor fabrication. and supposidly through the 2.5" borla exhaust. guess we'll see what the axles and tranny are like soon enough.

I think those things do have the potential, like jinx said, we'll see how they hold up. I would think with all that torque traction will be a bitch. Definately should be a couple around making good numbers for sure, should be an interesting year in every class for sure.

the only thing im worried about with the neons is the drivetrain lasting forever but the car falling apart around it(ie older neons). otherwise i really like them, even with all my friends who say, "its still a neon".

that motor is rock solid!!! they say its stronger than the 1st & 2nd gen DSMs and they put down 500hp easy w/ stock bottom end.........so thats only the beginning with the srt4

in the thread the guys said they think they have around $4000 in it total. i'm betting this car runs high 11's on street radials and low 11's on slicks. very low 11's if they get the gearing/rev limit/tire size worked out.

nice numbers, i like the torque especially. for all those who are saying "yeah.. but it's still a neon!!11!1" there are people who say the same thing about your cars only replace "neon" with "honda."
