How much boost would I need for a stock d16 turbo for 200 hp
So first off I'm new to the forums and I hope I posted this in the correct place but like the title says I'm running a stock d16y7 with a cometic head gasket and arp head studs and on a .50 trim turbo how much boost would I need to run and get as close to 200hp I am on a budget(I know not the best to be on when it comes to turbo)

On my old setup with d16z with 59300 cam, stock block with a t28 turbo, 10 spiking to 12psi got me 212whp. So roughly it'll take about that. Just keep cranking it til you get to 200 which is will be easy since you got head stud so you won't head lift.

I got 193HP out of my stock D16Z6 with 200,000+ miles on it. Running a TD05 14B turbo at 10psi on a ported HF exhaust manifold and a HF to TD05 adapter plate, 450cc dsm injectors, 255lph fuel pump and a ebay intercooler kit. I think I had right at $1500 in it and that is including the tune.
Only thing is it lasted 3 months and it spun a rod bearing. Rebuilt in my garage with no machine work only honing the cylinders and installed a known good crank. Installed all forged internals and ARP head studs and turned the boost up to 12-13psi and made 212HP on same tune.
