How hot do turbo gases get before and after intercooler?
I am just wondering because I have to temporarily use rubber radiator hose as junctions between intercooler piping. The same rubber tubing is used as couplers but I have several inches of exposed rubber since I had to cut some pipe out to fit them in.
Will this be a major problem temporarily until I have new pipes made?

don't know. it was too late to get the tires back on my car. So do you think i will be ok temporarily with hoses holding these cut up pipes together?
Fmax will be taking their time making new pipes to make sure it is done right this time. Jaime is looking into this. I spoke to them today.
I just wanna make sure I won't melt these lengths of hose.
I plan on putting the nose back on my car tomorrow and try it out.

Intake air is not at all hot enough to melt rubber... Even pre-intercooler air is just warm by comparison.
It will be fine

Gruvy, all the couplers on my car are made from napa radiator hose, it will hold up no problem.

2in going in 2.5in going out. 16g steel.
I have about 6 inches of marine radiator hose on the 2.5in side I had to put in between a section of cut pipe to make things fit.
I will be driving the car for the first time tonight I hope.
Will let you all know!

Works fine but those radiator hoses might want to blow off if they're not clamped down really good. I've got the opposite setup - almost ALL radiator hoses and just a few pieces of pipe to join the radiator hoses together.
