Default Driving in the rain?

I was wondering should I be worried about driving my turbo charged car in the rain? (I know of course not to drive through puddles)

Do I have to worry about water getting sucked up through the intercooler while driving on wet roads while its raining?

Nothing is coming through the intercooler unless you have a hole in it or something.

Obviously you haven't looked at an intercooler closely enough, there isn't a way for water/anything to get into the intake air through the intercooler unless there is a leak. The intercooler is designed to have the intake air flow through tubes/bars while the outside air is used to cool it. It works like a radiator.

You only need to worry about water/anything entering the intake air through the turbo inlet. Depending on where it is located in the engine bay and if you are running a filter or not.

Generally you will be fine, but until we know your exact setup its difficult to tell.
