how does an electronic boost controller work ?

Default how does an electronic boost controller work ?

curious how it actually keeps the WG valve closed, and how/where it gets readings from...vacuum i assume

it bleeds vaccum through a stepping motor and releases it at the precise boost setting its pretty simple concept.

the vacuum line is connected to the wastegte.
