Default Fuzzy Logic on their Boost Controller?

Anyone able to use this feature? I'm using an HKS EVC3 and when i go through the learning phase...the boost controller never seems to work properly (ie. it doesn't control boost). I read in an edition of Super Street that Fuzzy Logic didn't work too well with larger turbos. anyone else with experience with this?

also...since i'm not using Fuzzy Logic on my evc...it makes my wastegate dump flutter...A LOT...is this normal? I was under the impression that an electronic boost controller would keep the valve closed until the very last moment when it pops open?
