Default How do u decide on cams?

How do you guys decide on what cams would be right for your setup? If you have low compression pistons what kind of cams are you looking for and why? I'm choosing cams for my new setup and need advice on how to pick out my cams. I've heard a lot of people making great power on just the stock gsr cams. Wonder if getting different ones are necessary.

Sounds like a basic mild built setup. Dependig on turbo and manifold and intake manifold is what cams u will run. Larger turbos and higher flowing manifolds will allow for more rpm and the head will require a cam to keep the torque longer

Basically you can't go wrong with a set or itr or ctr cams. Gera will get the job done but itr/ctr will make more top end with oem reliability. After that you tart getting into mild to wild cams. If it's a street car stick with oem or some skunk2 tuner 1's
