Cams for High HP car?
well im almost done with my build and i am trying to research cams for myself. the car will be a SFWD/true street car. everytime i try to search cam options on this site i get only cars that are looking for a cam for 300whp with a stock head. my setup is a lot more complex so i need to see what cams to research.
my setup is a B16 head, port and polished, oversized valves, springs and retainers, edelbrock intake manifold, top mount turbo manifold with a gt4088R turbo. my power goals are around 800whp..
any opinions on cams i can research and will fit me best for my setup? any opinion will be appreciated...

You are wrong. The Skunk 2 Pro 1's are the best out there right now from everything I've seen. I picked up 65 whp WITH 3 LESS PSI when I swapped them in over my Type R cams. They are great. I have a write-up on here somewhere if you search my name in the Forced Induction forum.
The Blox B's ans Skunk tuner 2's has also been the hot tickets with mid to high HP potential builds. Most of the people on HT crying Pro1's have never used them in a turbo setup but have read that a guy who was a friend with another guys uncle, used them and they worked lol. I am almost finshed with my setup that will be using skunk 2 tuner 2's on a topmounted sp6765

The skunk 2 pro 1's will make more power. Period. And there are plenty of people in here who have used them.
Because not many can afford teh shocking sticker price of the pro series, that's why people get teh tuner series which have way less potential than the pro series... Dude with the tuner 2s... Try swappin in a set of pro series either 1s or 2s and watch the gains shOw for themselves... Tuner series skunk 2 cams are very noobish...
Because CTR/ITR cams were the previous favorite. Now we have better options. But its expensive and you need to upgrade your valvetrain.
Speaking of which, what kind of hardware do I need to safely run S2P1 cams?

Mid range, smaller turbo = CTRs or Tuner 1s
High rev, larger turbo and lots of boost, PRO 1s
problem with the pro1's is valvetrain wear. there a very wild cam and unless its an all out drag car not worth it if your going to be daily driving and wearing out rockers. Rockers arent cheap thats for sure
Not to thread jack guys, but what would be an ideal seat pressure (psi) valve spring to run with the Pro1's? I'm considering these cams for the TS build.
There's never one particular car part that is infinitely an improvement in every aspect.
