Default intake manifold or ITR cams?

i got a gsr with a built block, and i got extra cash laying around. im going for a tune next month. which one will make a better upgrade a skunk 2 intake manifold or ITR cams. i got 9-1 pistons ealgle rods. stock head 60-1 turbo on a ramhorn

That stock GSR intake manifold with the butterfly design kinda sux for forced induction. Plus you have a fairly large turbo that is going to make power up top where you will want the least restriction of flow possible. My vote is for sk2 or victorX IM. There are plenty of guys makin 700-800 whp on GSR cams but none of them are on a stock intake manifold... You know what I'm sayin?

The manifold first. The hondata gasket also. The stock manifold is way too restrictive. The cams will only do so much with the stock manifold. Get the better flowing manifold first, then the cams will work better with the increased airflow. Save the cams for later.

I came into this thread thinking "Cams, cams, cams..." but after reading a few of the comments, i remembered what a stock GSR intake manifold was like. I have since changed my mind. I would suggest a new IM, but i would not get the Skunk2. If you're going to shell out some $$ for a new IM, get an Edelbrock Victor X and be done with it.
