hondata all motor.
hey guys. i was turbo before and was running s300. now i decide to go all motor with a new motor and was wondering if i tune my car with s300 without boost option and when i decide to go back to turbo, will i need to reinstall the boost ? my all motor only has intake exhaust and header. is it even worth tunning it all motor?

You can tune it with the expanded tables and run it NA. I think thats what you're asking.
Are you talking about tuning it on a dyno NA? Not really worth it in my opinion if its a completely stock engine. You'd more than likely pick up some power, but if you're going to boost it anyways it'd be cheaper to just tune it once after all the turbo stuff is on there.

Just get the boost option to begin with, and be ready for the future. That is why the HT bandwagon gets 57trims and SC-61's, so they are ready 'just in case'... Otherwise the S100 is more than enough for any NA app, its just that NA guys look for such tiny gains (OMFG I gained 1.3whp!!!!!) that they feel they have to go all out. A good fart lingering around my turbo inlet on the dyno will change the power output by more than most NA changes will...

no what i am trying to say is my car was turbo with s300 and now i wanna go all motor. but i might go turbo after few yrs. so while i am all motor i wanna tune it with my s300 and when i go turbo after few yrs, do i need to re install my boost option or do i just re tune it with out spending extra money.

if you already paid for the boost option then you have it forever whether you use it or not. im pretty sure the boost option can be enabled in all hondata systems, an authorized dealer just needs to unlock it once its paid for.

im an idiot, completely forgot we were talking about the s300. in that case the answer is even easier. all features come with the s300 so again whether you use it or not is your choice but it will always be there.
