Default Hondabond

Is Hondabod a decent replacement for teflon tape/paste? I don't have any teflon laying around, and I'm working on my oil lines and stuff for my car...

Do I need to make a trip to Lowe's?

yes it will work, you are supposed to use it on the temp sensor threads that got goes into Dist. Side of head, and you also use it on oil pressure sending unit, per the HELMS manual

Don't waste your money on that stuff, just stop by the local auto parts shop and pick up some Make-a-Gasket or similar. It's like $3 for a giant tube. Anything that says Honda on it has got to be expensive. I think Hondabond is $7 or something for a tiny tube.

You can get it at your local honda dealer. Just go up to the parts counter and ask for it.
