Hondabond
Is Hondabod a decent replacement for teflon tape/paste? I don't have any teflon laying around, and I'm working on my oil lines and stuff for my car...
Do I need to make a trip to Lowe's?

Re: Hondabond (TurboDANDEE)
yes it will work, you are supposed to use it on the temp sensor threads that got goes into Dist. Side of head, and you also use it on oil pressure sending unit, per the HELMS manual

Re: Hondabond (RyanAutry)
Don't waste your money on that stuff, just stop by the local auto parts shop and pick up some Make-a-Gasket or similar. It's like $3 for a giant tube. Anything that says Honda on it has got to be expensive. I think Hondabond is $7 or something for a tiny tube.

Don't screw around. My friend stinged and got the orange stuff.. it wound up leaking.. just get Hondabond and be done with it.
Plus it has that nice smell to it..
