oil return line
I have my b18 sittin in my garage and I wanna weld a bung for a return line, for future use (so I dont have to use JB weld) so my question is,
what size of opening should I use? I was thinkin of a half inch coupling (used for natural gas lines) or would 3/8 be just enough
thanks
Stu

Re: oil return line (civicguy81)
3/8" would work ok, 1/2" would be better (and be more safe) as long as that is the inside diameter. There are a lot of perfectionists when it comes to oil returns so it is hard to get a real world answer, just don't use 90* fittings and try not to make it travel uphill, mount the return bung as high as possible etc.

ya im gonna get some stainless steel tubing from work (scraps from a job) and make it one solid line with compression fittings
its great to be a plumber, stuff is like that cheap and easy accessible and u can rig up some piping and others if ya really think about it
