Default Home Depot clear braided hose...Will it really melt or collapse?

I bought about 10 feet of this stuff months ago to replace the hose that came with my catch can because it became oily. Has anyone used this? If it's no good, where do I get the temp resistant clear hose? Thanks!

Well, it sure LOOKS like the stuff that comes with the Greddy catch can and I've had mine on for a few months now and aside from it starting to look a little assy brown, it's in good shape.

Just use the standard black pcv hose from any auto parts store and you won't have any problems. That's what it's designed for.

if it's only for catch can, you'll be fine.

JT, I'll use pcv hose if necessary, but I like being able to see how much oil comes out.

Thanks stan, I hooked it up today, so I'll let you guys know if it lasts. One thing I did notice is that it's not nearly as flexible as what came with my Cusco can.
