I have a 4 bolt Turbo Manifold for my B16. I would like to do a Holset turbo, I want to run the HY35 holset turbo, is there any adapter plate i need to run or will it bolt right up? any other advice of information let me know thanks!

 

the HY35 uses a T3 flange. so if you have a T3 flanged manifold you are good, otherwise you can get a T4/T3 adapter pretty cheap

 

you need to know what flange the manifold is. 4 bolt?? almost all turbos mount with 4 bolts, so that is useless. need to know if its t3, t4, t6, evo, 14b/16g, t25, etc

 

i have a t3 manifold. Also will i be ok with a 38MM waste gate or do i need ot go bigger?

 

The Hy35 holset has a bolt pattern that is T3 inlet. The inlet does not exactly mathc up, but nothing some port matching would not fix.

ok i just read some people had boost spike/creep, so i wasn't sure

 

theres other issues that cause spikes and creep besides wg sizing
