T04 compressor housing bolt pattern the same as T3?
Here's my delima. I am trying to piece together a turbo kit for my B18B. I have an old T04 housing lying around collecting dust. I also have a stock turbo off a 88 RX7. What I need is a manifold. I believe that I can make an adapter plate for the RX7 turbo to a T04 housing. Most manifolds that I have looked into for the B18B bolt up to T3 turbo housings. I would like to get a manifold for a T3 allowing me to upgrade in the future to a custom T3 turbo setup, the T04 is too big...at least for my application. I am trying to decide if i can make an adapter for a T3 manifold to the RX7 turbo. I have never dealt with T3's in the past and don't know much about them or the manifold bolt patterns. So how similar are the T3 and T04 manifold bolt patterns?
Come one someone has to know or at least had the two housings side by side.

I think the was going by your title...you asked about a compressor housing but I think you are asking about the turbine housing (the hot side).
If you're asking if a T4 will bolt up to a T3 manifold and vice versa, then no, the flanges are different.

Man, I can never get that stuff right. Mainly my interest is how similar that the turbine housings are bacause I have a RX7 TII turbo that had a similar turbine housing to a T04. If the T3 turbine housing is similar in length and width (not too much smaller) to the T04 then I could make an adapter for the RX7 TII turbo to T3 housing.
