Default High Vacuum on Decel

I've noticed that when I let off the gas in my b16 that my boost/vacuum gauge goes to 60cmhg (metric gauge). I have a feeling it may be time to re-ring this winter as it's been boosted for 2 years. It's a built b16, Weisco Pistons, Eagle Rods, Darton Sleeves.

Thanks!

60cm hg is equal to about 23-24 inch on my Autometer which isn't too far off from normal. Mine pulls 20-21 on decel. That usually indicates a strong motor I thought. Maybe someone else can chime in and tell you to go ahead and boost the hell out of it the way it is.

Ok well I guess it's time to see what over 14lbs feels like.

high vac on decel is normally cause you removed the PCV setup; that controlled vacuum leak that's engineered in

How much boost does your map sensor read? Use it, lol. Yea I see 26" with pcv system removed.

my all motor setup use to pull close to 29IN-HG on decel. perfectly normal. U usually have a problem with the motor if your vacuum at idle is low (say below 19 In-Hg)
