what spring rate to run in wastegate? im a bit confused...
I got a TIAL 38MM wastegate. I was wondering how the PSI works? ok I will currently being running a stock LS turbo set up for now, while my sleeved B16 is being built which i plan to run about 18-20 PSI. how should i go about the spring rate? i have no idea what PSI spring is currently in the wastegate now.
Thanks in advance guys

the general rule is whatever lbs spring you have in the WG is the minimum psi you'll be able to run. Then you 'generally' can double that spring rate for your max psi....which isn't exactly accurate.... depending on your setup and boost control, you can go more than double the spring rate.

You can control boost with some tuning software like Neptune. Or the Apexi AVCR is pretty good....I have a brand new one for sale I'll give you for $50 less than they cost new.
