yes you can on that C/R but you must run a high octane fuel like C12 or E85. and you will also need a good tuner to tune your car so you dont run into detenation.Try to get air from the turbo moveing into the engine faster and exiting the engine even faster.

Your biggest concern is to find a tuner that is experienced with high compression turbo setups. Ask him what kind of setup you should run (turbo sizing, exhaust sizing, fuel requirements, etc...)

I have tuned a lot of high compression turbo setups before, and it is totally doable with pump gas depending on the setup you choose.

this would be amazing turbocharged but you would have to use higher octane....i think you should do it with e85 (104 octane if i remember right) and 1000cc injectors. agreed you definitely will need a good tuner!

11.5 turbocharged on pump? that sounds risky to me, but im not a tuner.

I've done that back in '03-06.. I had a GT28RS setup at 11.5:1 CR on Sunoco 94oct pump... 320 WHP at 14 PSI for about a year (10k miles). And then I had a GT2871R on there, and had 380 WHP for about 2 more years (20k miles). I am the tuner, so that's a different story.

i wasn't doubting I've read some of your other posts and i believe you. I'm just saying i'd feel safer running higher octane.

you should be fine with that compression ratio if you have access to E85. check out my stock block b16 with CTR pistons boosted on E85. made good power!
