Re: hf/evo8 16g plate (bch5428)
assuming the evo8 16g's are the same as the older style 16g's, they're flanged the same as a 14b; so a hf to 14b adapter should work.
hmm, i just remembered that the evo's use "twin scroll" turbos, so they could be flanged differently.

an evo 16g sits opposite of the dsm/evo1-3 16g's, when you look at the exhaust housing on teh turbo its doesnt even resemble a normal 16g, so you wont be able to use a 14b braket.

Re: (ITSME4G63)
im curious as to if honda guys using this turbo need to machine the adapter plate around the "twin scroll divider" section, or if i can just cut a hole around the entire turbine entry. i dont have a pic handy but the evo8 16g has two trapazoidial (is that a word?) ports on the turbine side for quicker spool times. so should i match the gasket exactly or just cut it wide open? id like to make it spool efficiently as possible, especially putting it on a mucher smaller motor than a 4g63. i plan to use it on a d16a6.
