Help with Turbo

Default Help with Turbo

im working on a turbo gsr eg. benson sleeves , 9.1 Cp pistons, Eagle rods, portflow valves springs retainers, full race stage 3 kit. my goal is to build a daily driver at 300 plus hp pump and 450 plus hp race gas. the turbo i have is a T67. what would you guys recommend. A) use the T67........B) use a different turbo

why are you shooting for such low numbers with all that work done?

the t3/t67 is an awesome turbo. No need to change it IMO
Is it the HO or just the regular one with the stage 5 wheel?

For your power goal, you could use a lot smaller turbo...like a 57 trim for example. Another one that comes to mind is the STC Silver Surfer. It will easily make the power you want, but spool MUCH faster than the turbo you currently have

unless you want 650+whp i would suggest switching to a smaller turbo. the GT3076r would be ideal for your goals imo.

I agree...so would the Borg Warner S256 or S258

im shooting for these numbers because its going to be my daily driver......its the only car i have at the moment so i want it to last a while

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, actually i'd applaud you for not being another one of the idiots. I was merely saying that for your goals, you could get by with a lot smaller turbo and therefor less lag
