help stripped oil pan nut
Help I stripped the nut that holds the oilpan to the engine. The worst part its near the transmision. The nut just seams to turn on the stud so i am unable to tighten it or lossen it. I was thinking of using a dremel to cut it off but what bit can i use that will fit in there, or any other suggestions would be appreciated thanks.

Re: help stripped oil pan nut (linx)
most likely you stripped the pan, not the nut. new oil pan time or drill and weld a new bung onto it.
EDIT: oops read it wrong...
drill a tiny pilot hole into the hole and get a bolt extractor on it. put a little honda bond in that area if you cant get a new bolt into there.

Re: help stripped oil pan nut (Turbo E)
sorry if I was unclear I'm not talking about the oil drain. i'm taking about the nut that holds the oilpan to the block.

See if you can take the stud out with a vice grip, and put a bolt. If the hole is stripped then try to put a little longer bolt. Hope this helps!
