no boost troubleshooting...
according to my boost guage, i'm running 1 psi, but i think it's just a machencial error becuase i've turned the wastegate's setting 3 full revolutions up and down and i still get 1 psi.
so far i've done this:
i've connected the compressor side of the turbo with the side of the wastegate marked "boost" and left the "vaccum" port unplugged
-nothing/no boost-
i've connected the compressor side of the turbo with the side of the wastegate marked "boost" and connected the "vaccum" side of the wastegate to a vaccum line in the intake manifold
-nothing/no boost-
i plugged and sealed up the compressor side of the turbo and left the "boost" side of the wastegate unplugged (i believe this should boost to infinity) and connected the "vaccum" side of the wastegate to a vaccum line in the intake manifold
-nothing/no boost-
-question-
What do you guys think if i take the side of the wastegate where it is labeled "boost" and connect to the intake manifold vacuum source?
by the way, this is a 5th gen prelude
thanks!

plug the vaccuem hose back to the compressor from the wastegate and leave it alone.
take the boost gague and plumb it into the intake vaccuem somepalce and leave it. thsi will tell you if the turbo itself is working fine. your boost controller could be faulty.
