help guys, damn Fuel pressure stuck
Ok so heres the scenario:
I was driving on the highway for a good two hours this weekend, cruise control on, 72 MPH @ 4100 RPMS in 5th gear, sitting about about 15 hg Vac pressure. so i was running lean, not boosting, fuel pressure staying at a constant, my FMU wasnt moving at all or anything, throttle posistion didnt change once.
finally i get to my exit and and i go to drive off, but i cant boost, i mean i can but its weak and did NOT sound good. i came to conclusion that my FMU is stuck from being in the same damn spot, and when i boost, my Fuel pressure isnt rising with it, so im staying lean............what the hell do i do! this is the second time ive had a problem with this damn FMU.
im running 310's, 10:1 FMU disc.
i KNOW i should get hondata, but i cant afford it now, so please dont just suggest "get hondata dude"
please guys its not healthy for my engine, or my soul!

Re: help guys, damn Fuel pressure stuck (NYb16)
It sounds like the FMU. I, again, recently had the same problem so what I did was try to relieve some of the pressure. I took the gas cap off, vaccum line off of the fmu, changed my plugs, and reset the ecu. For some reason it worked but only because I think I was lucky.
Hondata is on the way so I no longer have to worry about the FMU..
