Default HELP WITH GREDDY OIL RETURN LINE

I was wonderin if the L flange that taps in the the oil pan is need for the oil return line on the greddy kit or can i use a different return method... plz help thanks

It's nothing special. A hose just slips over it and is held in place with clamps. You could weld a -10an bung on there, but I'm not sure the drain on the turbo itself can be converted to -an fittings. Check here, and give them a call:

They have an oil drain flange that I guess you could tap then put an adapter in.

I have the flange for the turbo I just need to tap into the oil pan to get the oil 2 return 2 the pan

What are you trying to accomplish? If you want to use the same type of oil return on the pan itself, I provided a link. They also sell a flange that can be tapped so you can use a 3/8" NPT to -10an adapter on the turbo itself. For the oil pan you just get a -10an weld bung. After that, buy any brand of -10an adapters and fittings. Be more specific if this doesn't help.

If you want to keep the fitting on your turbo, get this and have it welded on the oil pan:

Buy this socketless hose:

Push one end of the socketless hose on the existing turbo fitting, clamp it, then buy one of these in whatever angle you need:

Slip some firesleeve over the socketless hose, push the hose end into the hose and tighten it onto the oil pan bung.

im just trying to get the oil to return to the oil pan thats all on the greddy 18g.. i have the flange for the turbo i just ned it for the pan

YEAH I DID LIKE IT I JUST THOUGHT YOU WOULD NEED THE L FLANGE ON THE PAN

the easiest way to do it is to get an L flange because of the curviture of the greddy down pipe. greddys diagram puts it where they do because its the flattest spot on the pan to tap. you can use any flange you'd like as long as it seals. i actually miss- marked my pan and had to cut some of the baffle out. it doesnt effect anything because the return line is not pressurised.

you can also pick up a moroso pan/ pickup set. these are available with a bung for oil return, and another optional bung for oil temp.

if you want the actual GREDDY flange, dont waste your money ordering it from greddy. you can find a drain tap at any autoparts store

the line itself is just a standard fuel line available again at any autoparts store
