Default HELP BoOsTeD D16 ????????????

Aite so i jus got my car tuned and is running great the only problems is my car feels like it doesnt wanna pull any more @ 6500rpms im running a greddy turbo kit tuned on chrome we set the red line at 8000rpm the funny thing is when you just rev up the car when your at a stop it goes up to 8000rpms but when you drive it the car feels like its at redline at 6500rpms any input would very much be appriciated ????????????? please help.......

Was the car tuned on a dyno ?
Do you have a wideband oxygen sensor on the vehicle ?

you must be hitting some kind of fuel cut. what is your afr's at full boost?
I had that probelm when I was too lean up top.

no it was street tuned the wide band i dont think so i know there was one hooked up when we tuned it

im not exactly sure where the afrs are but he said everything is where it needs to be as far as the afrs go

Get with who ever tuned the car. You didn't really provide us with a lot of information on the setup so we can't really tell you where your peak power is going to be.

aite so i did some more research and my car threw a CEL at around 6300 6500 rpm it,s CEL #22 the vtec pressure switch ive read somethings about oil flow mainly i found people having this same issue mostly in ls/vtec mine being a mini me i thought ok maybe i need a vtec oil pump like you do when you do ls/vtec but on mine the oil pump is the same one for dx/ex models ive checked my oil level its good changed my pressure switch and triple checked the wiring still i have this F***ing code please help ........................

when my buddy was throwing the vtec pressure switch code it was from his uncle(a professional mechanic of 20+years) over torqueing all his camshaft bolts and that caused the metal to shave off...which lead to the screen of the VTEC solenoid getting clogged up with metal shavings....i would say take off the VTEC solenoid and see if its clogged up

Is your speedometer working? vtec could be set to engage over a certain speed...If vtec isnt engaging that why it feels like a rev limiter...ecu is giving it the fuel to get into it but there car isnt...

yea my speedo works vtec is set at 4200rpm im tuned on chrome pro im fuel up to 9000rpm but when it hit 6500 bam......... CEL# 22 along wit limp mode
