Your connection is fine, it's likely you have a defected gauge.

check the connections and the clamps on the hoses. The boosted car we recently did, had a small pin hole leak and showed 11hg, when fixed it was pegged at 21. But, it sounds like a broken guage. If you drop them, or it was dropped from shipping, the guage will be off.

totally man' hook your friends gauge and see if that works.. trouble shoot first.

My friend had one of those gauges and it was all whacked out way off.

ok guys. heres what the prob was...... my friend had his power wire was hooked to a temp source. meaning its on when the car is on, but it turns off for a split second when my friend actually cranked the car. this completely screws over the autocalibration and makes it read totally wack. ok. thats it. bye.

completely fixed now.

he's dumb and shouldnt be allowed to have a car.
