Default head gasket

im sendin my block to get sleeved at GE and im puttin in arias 83mm 9:3:1 flat top pistons. i need to get a cometic head gasket...i was told to get a .043" thickness and that would drop it down to around 9:1 compression. also im getting my block O-ring will this affect what kinda of head gasket i get? thanks

With your block being o-ringed, use their standard gasket, NOT the HP gasket. The HP gasket has a built in fire ring that is NOT compatible with an o-ringed block

i just wanted to verify that the .043 thickness will lower the compression to around 9:1
