Block setup for (450-500hp)
im just curious to know and if u care to share your block setup. What type of sleeves, pistons what bore size ..etc are u using. Preferably people thats getting 450-500hp range. I have a gsr block im building its my first build, and i want to build it right..So any suggestions would be appreciated Thanx
im running crower rods, wiseco pistons, 81mm ge sleeves w/ arp headstuds, and a balanced crank w/ micropolished and chamfered holes. i made 602 whp.
i was plan on running eagle rods, wiseco pistons, aebs sleeves. The person thats sleeving my block suggests i should do 83 in my bore size not to sure on that. anyone else with there setup or have some suggestions?
not that i have first hand experience but its kinda common sense bro
bore size doesnt really matter till u hit 84.5, then u may be gettin on the thin size, alothough i remember seein a 86mm turbo b16, but thats besides the point lol
83 is a good place to start as you have room for improvement, all it has to do with is displacment
good luck with it man

weve been running 447 whp on stock bore stock sleeve gsr block for over a year now beating it on a daily basis. build for your goals, 447 is FAST. if you want more than yeah sleeve it. Tune it good.
