Hey guys, I'm new here and wasn't around when this oginally came out. I read dbman96's post in the archive but the wiring schmatic never came up, plus my setup is a little different so I was hoping I could get some help (maybe from the master himself?).

I am thinking about doing this on my JRSC Prelude. While I don't have a J&S I do have the JR map mod (basically a map limiter). I can't figure out the wiring of all the map signals though.
Is it like this:

Map sensor signal from car ----> VAFC TPS in and JR map mod in
JR map mod out -----> VAFC map in

I'm confused out whether or not I'm supposed to send the Map sensor signal in two directions. thanks

 

You appear to have it figured out right.

The VAFC should see an UNLIMITED map signal to its TPS input (so you would tap the signal before the MAP mod) and a LIMITED map signal to the VAFC MAP input (after the MAP mod).

You're on the right track.
