most PSI you can run on V-AFC hack
i've read that the most you can runis 10-12 psi on a stock MAP sensor with V-AFC hack. has anyone had experience at higher boost??? just wondering, if i plan to go higher, can i use a missing link for higher boost??? or can i just buy a 3-bar sensor from Hondate for instance??? what's this i see about using a GM map sensor? what car should it be from, and what are the advantages??

11 max on hack. Even with bigger MAP. The VAFC just cannot cut reduce the map enough to keep it within the stock fuel tables beyond 11 psi. It will throw a MAP code.
If you want more than 11, get standalone.

What injectors do you have and do you have a Missing Link? I have seen people run up to 17lbs on an SAFC , 440cc injectors,Fuel Pump, and FMU. But all my friends that run SAFC's are running about 1 bar.

they're not running the AFC hack though. they're just using the afc to tune their fuel, instead of using it to control the MAP

if you use the missing link then you won't be running the hack...defeats the whole purpose. you can use the AFC to tune your fuel curve but your going to have a hard time tuning to run rich on boost....and the MAP won't take in to account weather you are boosting 3psi or 10 psi ti make the coorect fuel changes.

Yah the people that I know and myself just run an SAFC for fuel control and a missing link to trick the map out. Add 440cc injectors tune the AFC for the amount of boost you are running. It doesnt lean out as long as you have bigger injectors and it is tuned right. The Greddy A/F gauge is basically needed when you do this though.
