Default Has anyone had air conditioning functioning probs after a turbo install?

Cause mine just went out. I was working two days ago and I've the turbo on for less than 1000mi. However I haven't wrapped the lines yet and I don't have a heat shield to protect the compressor. But I still would think the ac would hold on longer than just 1000mi post turbo install.

This is just great. August is coming and me with no ac. Well it looks like more money down the pit know as the integra

Mine started making the car stall at idle when I turned it on, so I took the A/C out.

yea, it idles real rough and feels like it wants to cut off. It's also nowhere near how cold it used to get. I think i might just strip it out, but the hot days kinda scare me when i might need it.

check all the lines, cause the problem i had was that the hose clamp around the turbo slowly sliced away at the ac condensor hose giving me nothing but hot air, when it decided to work. for my problem it was about 160 to fix.

Well, I just took a good look at everything and I think I may have found the problem. Last weekend I swapped out my old busted radiator and when I hooked up the ac fan ( I'm using the 12" local auto store ones) I didn't zip tie the wires away from the belts so they got a bit chewed up by the belts, but not severed. They still look functional-just stripped of insulation. Hmm. Time to go trouble shoot.

Dustin, 110F. Good lord. On the highway summer heat doesn't bother me, but sitting in traffic with no breeze....eeeewwwwww. I just love the big sweat stain look.
