Im planning on installing most of my fuel management stuff within the next couple of weeks. I will be boosting by the end of May. So basically i will just have the dsm's and vafc installed. Is it smart to be running the hack (vafc plus dsm 440cc) without boost? The engine as of now only has intake and exhaust. Will i have a rough idle or anything like that?
Im thinking this will be no problem, because using the vafc i will just be able to tune my 440cc to flow like the stock injectors.

think of it like this.... from 0-3k you are not boosting but you are still running the hack. you just have it tuned so that it fuels the engine like stock would. what you need to do is just have it set 0-8k like you set up the 0-3k.

this makes the assumption you know how to run the hack.

 

how do you hack an ECU, i got 92 civic dx ecu i think its P06 and i want to hack it so it goes better with the DOHC ZC 2nd Gen Engine?
