combinig the vafc with field boxer to help with ecu reading boost
I had this idea that in order to keep my ecu from reading boost I could use my old field boxer and hook it up in between the map sensor and the vafc and just set the field boxer until the vafc dosn't read boost when boosting and then go from there as far as tunnig what do you guys think?

What's the point of this? It's teh same thing as using 450 injectors and scaling the map sensor votlage down -40% or so to not see boost etc. Unless you were meaning scale it down with the Fields, then sue the AFC and adjsut from 0% up and down vs -40%? EIther way to do that yoiu still need larger injectosrs in order to scale down the load for it to work. In the end, you come up with the exact same setup was VAFC + 450CC injectors. only looknig at 0% instead of -40% on the VAFC

Re: (Tchleung)
well the thing is that I tried it that way that ur saying but for some reson it wouldn't work for me. I just finished doing the set up that i was talking about and the thing that i like is that the vafc gives me the reading that the field is giving out for the ecu to read. now i got a question what is the reading i'm looking for because rigth now i'm getting either 000 or -7 on the vafc and sometimes my car runs fine and sometimes it get lean from what i see in the a/f meter I'm runnig some 450cc I had a 12:1 fmu but i disconected the vaccum hose about a week ago because of what i read in here I haven't had time to completely removing it do you guys think thats whats wrong with my [leany] problems?
