There's an old thread somewhere about stock block turbo applications, and pretty much all Honda engines can run 100+whp over their stock form. I'm sure 200-300whp will be safe on an h22.

The rule of thumb I'm familiar with is ~200-250whp for d-series. 250-350whp for b-series, and probably the same for h-series. I'm curious about your b18a1 transmission however, isn't that a cable shifter?

yea for those motors not h22^ h22 sleeves are made different. h22 sleeves plain out suck for turbo. best bet is to sleeve the block. if u stay stock i wouldnt go over 8 pounds

Yea a b18 a1 is cable clutch but we had to put the b18a1 gears in a b16 a2 housing which is hydraulic. It was kinda a difficult job but it all worked out. I am currently getting my integra gsr tranny rebuilt to put back in it.
