H23 Turbo Set up
Hey guys, i need some help here. I plan on boosting a 4gen h23 in an accord. I'm not trying to set records so i'll only be boosting the max the stock block can handle ( 10 psi i've learned ). The car will be a daily driver with around 6-7 psi regularly and 10 lbs when i wanna have some fun. I'm really stuck on turbo set ups as far as what i'll need and what trim of turbo ( i was thinking a t3/t4 would work great ).
I know i'm going to go with Hondata s100 with boost option for tuning, some Skunk2 cam gears, and oil, fuel, and egt guages. As you can see i'm kind of stuck as far as what else is needed to make this work.
Can anyone help me with this setup ? Turbo, trim, what i will need, good companies that make the parts etc. I'm doing searches to learn but not finding exactly what i need. Thankz ! ! !
Edit: I wanted to make clear if anyone got the wrong impression, i want to KEEP my A/C, plz keep that in mind. Oh yea, i'm not Donald Trump either, i plan on saving around 3-4 for everything needed minus tuning.

Re: (SleepersOwn)
im runnin t3/t4b a little small, but very good for what youre lookin for. Very minimal lag.
You better be prepared to re-build the motor/if the ringlands do go....they r very prone to damage when goign f/i.

Thanks for the reply, but i'm looking for a lil more specifics of what is needed for the setup. I know a lil about turbo's but i'm still pretty much noobish on specifics.

Re: H23 Turbo Set up (SleepersOwn)
As everyone knows, the piston ringlands are the first thing to usually go on a forced induction H series motor. If you arent looking to set records, then i advise you not to boost 10psi for the 'times you want to have fun.' Otherwise (even if tuned) you will find yourself having fun rebuilding your motor. A stock tuned h23a can boost 8psi all day long and honestly 2 more pounds of boost isnt worth blowing up your motor if you arent planning on rebuilding it in the near future. Im just telling you its better to be safe then sorry. As far as turbo, a t3/t4 is your best bet, 50 comp trim, .48 ar trim will spool up very quickly. You could look into a larger sized turbo that will put out a bit more power for you.
Good companies
intercooler: spearco, pwr
turbo: precision, garrett, turbonetics
wastegate: tial 35mm
manifold: drag gen 4 (summer 03 released), revhard (i think)
downpipe: drag gen 4 or custom
fuel pump: intank walbro 255
intercooler piping: custom is always good, jcwhitney.com for mandrel u-bends

cool, thankz gude. Well i'll keep the boost down, but ..
Will i be able to reach 250+ whp without going over 8 lbs ( the reason why i was suggesting 10lbs ) ? I've seen like 2 people on here reaching 250 @ 6-7 lbs, so i would also like to see those types of results.
And is that all i need for the kit to be complete ? Btw, will i need 2.5 or 3" exhaust piping ?
