Gsr Setup.. please help
Hello all, I have a 96 integra gsr.. motor is in great healthy shape with just a hair over 100,000 miles.. i have had a compression and leakdown test and both were exceptional.. with that said, i am wanting to boost my gsr.. Im here asking for help as to what kind of setup i should be looking for for my gsr.. the gsr is kind of a daily driver so im not wanting to go overboard. im looking for a turbo setup that will allow me to keep a/c and p/s, and somthing that is reliable.. i have heard that a great place to be is around 300 hp on a stock motor, is this true? if so what kind of setup would you all recommed to me that will get me around 300hp be reliable and allow me to keep a/c and p/s... budget will kind of vary. so if you all could shoot me some ideas along with a price range on those ideas, i would greatly appreciate it...
thanks in advance..
thanks in advance..
Your setup is all going to depend on your budget. There are many log manifolds which retain PS and AC...if you have more money, i would opt for either a shorty, like the one i run, or an AC ramhorn. Whichever you get, be sure to run a full 3" dp and exhaust.
IMO find a good AC/PS compatible manifold and snag a GT3255b like the one i have...it makes great power and spools up VERY fast.
For tuning, i went with Crome on a chipped P28. You can get them from J-K Tuning, Xenocron and Phearable. Check the SPonsor's Marketplace for those guys...If you have other questions, let us know...you can always PM me too
300whp is safe....check my sig

reliability comes down to fuel management period. 300 whp can be achieved with a GT turbo a regular journal bearing turbo. learn to read a compressor map and choose the correct turbo. first, educate yourself about turbos

Never seen it, but wouldn't do it. I've pieced mine together and bought more items than that with not even coming close to $2,800
