Default Front Mount Size - Integra - Need Dimensions

I have 2001 integra, i need the dimensions of a front mount that will fill the entire whole. I don't want any piping or fittings to be showing.

not my car, not the correct year. but that is the front. just in case.

your core wont take up the whole length...you'll need wide end tanks too. I would guess somewhere between 33 and 36 inches

--- ya, im also contiplating on cutting out my front grille. i bought a new front bumper because the last one was cut out for the old intercooler. I want everything to appear stock from the outside.

--- ya, thats what im trying to avoid. i wanted to try to have a intercooler big enough to fill out the entire gap, capable of my 500-600whp goals, and keep the front grille in.

Another option is to contact someone, like SLS, and have them build you an intercooler with custom end tanks to fit your setup...that's probably your best option.

Will do.

--- If anyone has a front mount that fills out the entire gap, fill me in with some dimensions.

--- Also, what makes the intercoolers HP rating? The Size? Density/Properties it's made of?

The size of the core dictates is power rating...also the quality of the core. IIRC the core's thickness is the most important dimension.

Most shops that build custom sized IC's will use the top of the line cores available anyway.

I think that if you want the entire front opening filled by the core, then you would not have enough room for the in/ out on a standard IC because of the curve of the lower part of the front bumper cover. Maybe custom fabbed with them slanted back??

Yes it is.

750hp Intercooler (AS1026) 31.5 x 10.3 x 3.5
825hp Intercooler (AS1019) 34.5 x 10.5 x 3.5

The 825hp intercooler should fill that bumper fine. Get out a tape measure, I just have you the easy part.

...anyway i had to cut the grill out with my 750hp precision one and that was pretty much pressed up against the rad support......i had the large *** street imports intercooler first, and didnt have to cut the grill out for that, it was tube and fin thou, i wanted a bar and plate so i made the switch...

no logs of IAT's with either however
