garrett t3 turbo question.....
Hey guys, i just got a garrett t3 turbo from a friend of mine, and i just have a few questions about the trubo it's slef.
1. While the turbo was on the Sabb it had an internal wastegate, when the internal WG was taken off there is a arm that hooked on the WG that moved back and forth to open and close it, and attached to arm inside the housing is a little "flapper" inside the ehxaust housing that opens up to let the unwanted exhaust into the WG. So what should I do about the "flapper" that opens inside the housing? It does not look like the flapper can or would come off. Im not sure what I should do about it.
2. Im not sure but I think that this turbo is set up to be water cooled as well as oil cooled, not sure tho, I was asking because there are 2 holes on the opposite side of eachother right beside the oil inlet/outlet not sure about this... any help would be appreciated
thanks everyone
