Anyone with a Turbo b16 upgrade to Type R cams at Low boost leves? What gains?
Iv seen boostfed's gains and they are very impressive but thats also at higher boost, Im just wondering if anyone has any experience with this at lower boost level like 7 psi or so. Just wondering what kind of gains

I have a b16 with a itr head and ctr cams and got 216whp @7psi on a mustang dyno. I however have never had stock b16 cams to compare with...hope this helped

have you run the car? because I feel like my car would have more hp then that with just the b16. But I guess I dont really know

havent run it yet, but from what I understand 215 hp on a mustand dyno is closer to 235 on a dyno jet. The car feels great, it pulls strong to redline...I wish I knew how to post my dyno chart...

ya i've seen the thread about ITR cams suck for boost thread.... ill put it this way... if your making 500hp then ya GSR cams will prolly be holding you back, but for the average street setup, your gonna be most likely better off with GSR cams

Almost all of the 8 and 9 second hondas run GSR cams. Ive seen 700+ whp on gsr cams.

IM looking at trying to get a 450whp b16 thats about the extent of my goals. Im not sure if I should just go with GSRs or head for the type Rs

go with the gsr cams they are cheaper and work great with boost
