what you wanna know about them ? they use the same BB cartidge as the GT series. steel dual ball bearing.
. Exceptionally Crisp Throttle Response
2. Spools Up to 15% Quicker than Journal Bearing Turbos
3. Quicker 0-60 Elapsed Times
4. More Tolerant of Marginal Lubrication
5. Less Chance of Seal Leakage
6. Improved Damping & Control over Shaft Motion
7. No Thrust Bearing, which Eliminates a Weak Link

if you need pricing PM me. its acutally not much more to purchase the complete turbo VS just the center chra

pretty much all the t-series and everything that is available in a journal bearing. I got a P-trim 67mm compressor(T04R).

as of right now, Garrett has limited the release of the BB chra to only the stg3 and p-trim turbine wheels.
but, we can build them with almost any comp. wheel.
im running a BBTO4R with a T3p .63 a/r on my daily driver, and loving the pressure recovery between shifts....

Re: Garrett T3/TO4 BB conversion cartridges ? (PhoenixTurbo.com)
This is really good news - those P trim/TO4R's are the same as the Z by the sound of things .
I would like to see more of Garretts GT plain bearing turbines available with BB's ie the GT32 and GT37 . I like my turbos to have larger turbines in relation to compressor diametres so turbos like the GT3271 GT3576 GT4082 GT4067 could work well .
While the TO4P trim seems to work I'd like to know if one of the GT spec turbines could do the same job but with a little less weight so maybe better transients - GT35 or GT37 turbine ?
I really hope Garrett releases all the turbines and compressors in BB form and makes them available as spares - as well as rebuild kits . This way we can build what we like and not be limited to the generic diesel CHRA's . Should increase Garretts market share no end .
Before I go I've noticed that over there you use the compressers inducer diametre to describe a wheel ie 67 for TO4R , seems opposite of what Garrett does with GT wheels anyway .
Last quick Q , When the GT40R was first released the pics of it showed a 6/12 bladed compressor (BCI-18 ?) , the later ones seem to have a 7/14 bladed compressor (C 117 ?) . I always though the lower the blade count the better or has some later tech design got around that , could be some specific diesel app ?
Cheers Adrian .
