Default Garrett Core size and power

How much can an 18x11x4.5 core support. Not what they say on paper, that **** is not accurate.

I'm currently running an 18x12 but im changing to forward face and If i can go down to an 18x11x4.5 if would make life a little easier with fitment, I think.

if you stack 2 18x10x3 cores would you have 1000+ hp of support since each core is rated at 500+? I would imagine so.

Park is using the 12" tall

Yes. This is true. Also, with two cores vs. one you actually gain efficiency. It allows more airflow through the core. The 5" thick cores get hot in the middle due to the lack of ambient air.

I know it doesn't sound right (totals 6") but data proves that it works better.

Really?? So a core that is 5" thick is cooler at depth of 5" than 2.5"?
