Default size/hp rating on FMIC

I am curious if anyone can tell me a formula for finding hp vs size on a front mount intercooler. I am trying to see what hp a cooler will be efficient to.
The size is: 29" x 8" x 3.5" without the outlet lengths included.
According to research, this fmic can efficiently power until 450whp.

Suggestions, comments?

there are many determining factors but first is cross sectional flow and the other is the design of the intercoolers . Some cores are moer efficeint that others.

Well, it is a bar and plate design. It is one that rev hard used to make. I called them and they told me the fmic was efficient to over 500whp and could efficiently hold nearly 600 before it would need upgraded.

I just prefer a few other opinions before deciding if I am going to settle on this.
