trying to get a IC, can't decide on the size...

Default trying to get a IC, can't decide on the size...
I'm gonna order a top to bottom flow intercooler from RRE and I can't figure out what size I need. There is a 18x6x2.75 and a 24x6x2.75! Is the 24" overkill? I'm trying to find out which one I'll need for around 400-450whp. IS the 18" core sufficient enough?

I think for that much power go with the bigger one. I'm only shooting for 200+ and my core is 18x6.5x3.5.
