I have the wiseco pistons w/ eagle rods, and it does the same thing..not as bad after it warms up, but its still there, but not at all rpm's.

my wiseco/eagle setup never knocked, did you checked the piston skirt to wall clearances ? I had done all at .0025 and I recently took the pistons out of the motor and not a single scar from overheating or too tight of a clearance

Do it right, you'll save your pistons, no knocking due to slap

Whoa..this post came back from the dead.

I figured out what was wrong.

My orignal post said I started hearing it after I installed my 450cc injectors and a VAFC (hack without the turbo). It turns out that this is the timing issue when running the hack. At around 2-4K rpms the hack advances the timing a lot. I was getting slight detination.

Found this out on homemadeturbo.com
