Default Forged Pistons. Car takes a little longer to start up when cold?

Just curious. I noticed that my car takes like maybe 2 seconds to start it up when its really cold outside. But after the pistons expand/hot and then I shut it off and leave it like that for an hour and turn it back on, it starts up in like 1 second. Only is harder to start up when its really cold out.

Is this common for forged pistons?
