I got a question..i finally finished my sohc vtec turbo setup and i went to go finally test drive it and i will floor it and it will go and go and i only get about 5psi around 7000rpm??? this is weird..

also i was testing some stuff out and on idle my dumptube is spitting out some exhaust?
Btw i am missing the O ring that goes in between the wastegate and manifold flange, could this be the reason why its leaking from the tube and also taking forever to spool up?

My setup is,
t3/t4 turbo 57 trim/ .63 A/R
FMIC 2.5 Intercooler pipe
3" open downpipe
tubular manifold
tial 38mm wastegate

Yup, i had the same problem with my car. Until i realized that I didnt put in the valve seat in (the part your missing). The wastegate isnt suppose to be open at idle. By putting in the valve seat, that should fix all your problems.

its called a fire ring...you can order them from Tial i believe...if you can't find one, i think i may have an extra new one...pm me
