Wastegate Valve Seat??
alright fella's. i boosted my car finally.
i bought a fake ramhorn which i didnt know of with the wastegate attached to it already. i bought a new setup and had swapped over the wastegate as is. 1 piece.
installed the kit into my car and started the car up and it had an exhaust leak. i dont know where its coming from. most people told me that they run without a gasket for the dp to the turbo. so i did the same and i highly doubt that it be coming from there.
i have a Tial wastegate and im unsure if its a 35 or 38mm. car is tuned at 13psi which was the lowest possible it would go down.
i went to a meet today and about 11 miles my waste gate falls off the manifold which i didnt know of and kept going for that 11miles.
i get to the lot and popped my hood and noticed my wastegate wasnt even attached to the manifold. the 2 12mm bolts had fallen off some how and it was just hanging there..
my friend (who has turbo'd his car so many years and does things the right way) told me that im missing a ring gasket thing between the waste gate and flange..i told him i never had anything like that and thats how i ran it/dyno'd it..
he told me that its suppose to be there. so i go to ATPturbo website and i came across this "Valve Seat" for the wastegate..
is this what i need? will cause the exhaust leak to go away?

haha i was merging traffic and hit the gas to keep up with the flow and it felt..n/a LOL..mine was hanging off the vacuum line as well but i zip tied all my lines so it wont pop off during dyno or a pull.
